CNC Grinder
Our Wednesbury based client are currently recruiting for an engineering machinist with CNC GRINDING experience, ideally gained from working within a tooling business. This opportunity has arisen due to a massive growth within the business, so if you are a flexible hardworking and dedicated individual that is happy to work as part of a massively busy team read on.
You will be working within a high-pressure machining environment, meeting deadlines and using your initiative to overcome problems resolving production issues. Under certain circumstances overtime and extra hours may be required to complete the task at hand and keeps production flowing.
The role will involve working with Jones & Shipman Format 5 CNC surface grinders so previous experience of these machines would be advantageous. You must also be capable of reading engineering drawings, be able to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team. Ideally you will have some programming experience and have good all round experience and understanding of the job and processes.
You will be working a basic 39hr week with overtime paid on top at overtime rate.
Hourly rate GBP10-GBP13 dependant on experience
