We are currently working on behalf of a Primary school in the Parson cross area who are wanting to employ a temporary Early Years and Foundation Stage teacher from September 2017. This is a full time position, which will continue long term and therefore suitable candidates must be able to commit to the entirety of the role. It is likely that this role will continue until the end of the academic year.
You will be working, primarily, in a Reception classroom. A proven track record in EYFS, and an ability to communicate and correspond with children, parents and other staff members is required. The school is small and in a rural area so class sizes are very small.
The role would only be suitable for experienced teachers.
Person Specification:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Recent and up to date experience teaching an EYFS classroom
* Superb knowledge and understanding of both the EYFS curriculum
* Confident communicator, who is able to form positive relationships with all school staff
* Be prepared to take on the full teaching role; parents evenings, staff briefings, extra-curricular activities, CPD as well as following the school ethos and bring a positive member of the team
* A DBS on the update service is advantageous, but full assistance provided if a new application is required.
