The client is a leading logistics / distribution organisation with a significant national presence in the UK. Due to a drive to maintain business excellence they are now urgently looking to recruit an junior PMO manager in to their business for 3 months + possible extensions.
You will be working in a PMO function and reporting in to the senior PMO lead. Your role will be to help the team in identifying and establishing PMO processes, documentation and visibility across our client's business division.
The successful candidate will have an established background as a PMO and will be responsible for workstream definition, project co-ordination, progress chasing, updating and supporting RAID logs and project documentation and, supporting the overall project PMO controls across multiple simultaneous projects.
You will be a self-starter, have good attention to detail and have good organisational skills. As the successful candidate, you will help to ensure projects are managed in a controlled manner to budget, standard and time, as well by the agreed and established quality processes implemented by the PMO function.
