Senior Client Manager - Market & Securities Services

Meraki Talent's client is currently seeking a senior client management professional to join their dynamic Securities Services business in Edinburgh. This is a newly created role which feeds in to an overall client and business strategy which is set to push our client's business into a new realm of client retention and acquisition. Their business has a settled global operating model and long standing valued client relationships which recognise the firm's role as an "enabler of growth". Within the Market and Securities Client Services Unit the team act as the main interface between Securities clients and the various Custody Operational Units of the Bank. As a Senior Client Manager in this team you will provide clients with a premium level of service through efficient handling of any queries and proactive resolution of enquiries. The role will also extend into "client education" and keeping abreast of industry changes to be viewed as expert by both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will act as an operational escalation point for clients. You will be managing the client service "blueprint", setting up new accounts, hosting due diligence meetings and handling audit requests. Additional key duties will be to produce MI and undertake the industry surveys. For this rarely available opportunity my client requires a high calibre financial services professional who has significant industry experience and a track record of being accountable for multi-faceted projects. A strong understanding of Global Custody is a major advantage and any experience in Fiduciary and/or Middle Office is advantageous. As you would imagine for a role of this nature strong interpersonal skills, negotiating skills and relationship management skills are required.
