Senior Customer Insight Analyst

Description
Based in Surrey this is a great opportunity for a commercially minded statistician to join a growing company who are investing heavily within their analytics teams. The Analytics team focus on delivering analysis of customer behaviour, process effectiveness and portfolio performance in order to impact business performance. Within this role you will become the data SME for the business
Responsibilities:
* Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a management information, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels.
* Developing and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of the market best practice
* Project based delivery of statistical and empirical analytics.
* Data warehouse interrogation, extraction, collection, and manipulation using SAS, SQL and Excel.
* Statistical analysis and data mining.
* Support the delivery of a Test and Learn environment for specific departments providing effective measurement of trials using pre-agreed key performance indicators.
* Customer profiling and delivering models designed to improve business profitability.
* Mentor junior analysts within the team
Requirements:
* Strong analytical background ideally within a Customer Insights team
* Confident user of database coding skills such as SAS, SQL or R
* Proven experience of delivering analytics projects
* The ability to interpret relevant data and to manager multiple tasks under pressure
* Strong commercial awareness and interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Degree level education in a numerate discipline
Benefits:
