Quality engineer

GBP30000-GBP35000 + 28 days holiday
Excellent opportunity for a quality engineer to join a large engineering company where you will play a key role in assuring the quality standards throughout the company are at the highest level.
In this role you will be responsible for quality engineering processes and continuous improvement of quality technologies for the factory.
The ideal candidate will come from a high volume manufacturing background and have at least 2 year's experience in a quality engineering role.

The role:
*Working with team leaders to resolve quality process issues, identify areas for improvement and developing action to address areas.
*Measurement, monitoring and maintenance of quality standards.
*Supporting line trials for quality input and assessment.
*Reducing cost through the reduction of non-quality costs.
*Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a safe working environment.
The person:
*2 year's experience in a quality engineering role.
*Experience of working with a high volume manufacturing engineer.
*Competent in the use of correction action reporting systems and problem solving technique.
