I am recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to work within a childrens residential home located in Birmingham.This home supports young people with EBD, challenging behaviour and other associated needs.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary + discretionary bonus,fully comprehensive training and induction programme and great opportunities to progress in the future.The Position:Working within a residential setting you will report directly into the Registered Manager of the home.Your duties will include, but are not limited too;Assist with the general daily running of the serviceSupervise a team of RCWs and seniorsTake part in the on call, where requiredConsistently work to within OFSTED guidelines in order to promote a safe environment for all young peopleThe Person:NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as minimum, with willingness to work towards Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management (if not already held)Background of working within a childrens residential home within a supervisory roleGood understanding of OFSTED regulationsPlease note that my client are looking for experience with children in a residential setting within the same sector, experience working with the elderly and those with learning disabilities will not be considered.
