Senior Quantity Surveyor

My client is a well respected and growing civil engineering contractor who have a large increase in their order book. I am currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within their team in the South West. This is a wonderful opportunity for the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business with the prospects of excellent career progression.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be expected to:

* Implement and manage all post contract commercial and procurement systems
* Work closely with project teams ensure maximal commercial returns on contracts
* Plan, forecast and report commercial project performance
* Forecast and manage cash flow
* Effective contract management
* Monthly CVR's
* Manage commercial aspects of sub contract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement

Requirements:

* Substantial Quantity Surveying experience in a civil engineering environment
* Experience of fixed cost, cost reimbursable, design & construct price contract
* Good negotiation skills
* RICS OR Degree qualified beneficial

Rate available for this position is in the region of GBP350 to GBP400 per day
