Marketing Manager offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 + Benefits

The is a fast moving importer and distributor of frozen, chilled and ambient food products within the UK Asiatic market with a strong focus within the Chinese catering industry. Our company operates 7 depots and has a national distribution network throughout the UK.

The role will involve working with key members of our regional telesales teams and purchasing managers and planning and implementing both short term and long term marketing strategies.

This will involve reviewing special prices and offers for customers, developing more brand awareness and giving support to the sales teams on new product lines.

With the Chinese market being a large part of our business, the successful applicant should have a good knowledge of written and spoken Chinese. You should also have a strong knowledge of being able to exploit the benefits of social media and new and modern marketing techniques as well as still being able to recognise when more traditional methods may still be beneficial.

The position would suit a recent graduate or someone with sufficient amount of marketing experience within a similar field. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills backed up with an eye for detail.

With our company operating several sites within the UK we have flexibility on where the successful candidate could be located however we would prefer that they should be based from either our Telford, Rainham (Essex) or Newcastle upon Tyne depots.
