My client is a leading Banking organisation based in the city of with businesses across Investment Banking, Private Banking and Asset/Wealth Management. This role sits with the Private Banking (PB) business. They have recently acquired a competitor PB business and this role will lead the architectural initiatives around the integration of both organisations. The role sits within a central architectural function which has a significant book of work (regulatory and startegic) moving forward. Summary of responsibilities: To be responsible for the timely completion of detailed IT business analysis, required as part of business projects or work-streams in relation to the logical and functional data model design. Document the logical data model (diagrams + text explanations for main objects). Contrast the business PRIV Business Data model with the target logical data model and document the differences. Maintain a backlog of open questions on data modelisation coming from all streams (banking, portfolio management , CRM, e-Banking) Define and document the application architecture including all peripheral systems (GL, Purchase Ledger, MIS, Reg reporting, SWIFT, etc) Check functional and data consistency between migration streams / integration streams. Assist teams to find solutions when there is an inconsistency. Creates communication links between local teams and central Architecture team on data or functional topics whenever necessary Help local teams in the design and implementation phase. Provide support for data modelling, data sourcing Participates to streams workshops when relevant Alerts CIO, Project Management, central Architecture team when there is an unsolved inconsistency Acquires functional / data knowledge on all business processes Has periodic contact with FNZ functional and data expert(s) Study leader on some topics, study contributors or experts on other topics Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and procedures relevant to your responsibilities, to ensure that you adhere to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long term sustainability of client relationships.
