Compliance Analyst
CashFlows operates in the FinTech space with a focus on electronic payments. Position: Compliance Monitoring Analyst
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: GBP35k - 40k per annum

About the role:
- Maintain day-to-day compliance monitoring schedule using automated and manual systems
- Perform key operational compliance tests against activity
- Produce compliance evaluation reports to management
- Identify potential negative reputation risk issues for CashFlows and our clients
- Periodically review CRM system for inaccurate or incomplete customer records
- Perform period sanction and PEP validation system review
- Completion of internal suspicious activity reports
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to Payments, E-Money and Payment Card Schemes
- Update internal compliance monitoring policies and procedures to reflect new systems and additional products
- Proactively suggesting improvements to compliance policies and procedures
- Assist in the delivery of the company wide compliance training programme
- Ad hoc project management and delivery within the compliance team
- Proactively update the sales team with KYC progress that impacts the on-boarding process
- Assist other Compliance Analyst roles as directed by the Head of Compliance
About you:
- Significant compliance monitoring experience, preferably in a payment card acquiring institution
- A great education impresses them but relevant experience and a proven track record puts you ahead of the competition
- Experience of sanction and PEP investigation desirable
- Experience of payment card transaction monitoring and case management advantageous
- Exposure to operational risk management very beneficial
- Good understanding of MasterCard rules and Visa operating regulations beneficial
- Understanding of FCA and Payment Service regulations desirable
- Compliance related qualification beneficial
- Good understanding of FCA, E-Money and Card Scheme regulatory requirement
