Credit Controller

Our Credit management team based at Ecolab headquarters, Northwich are seeking a new Credit Controller to join the exciting and expanding team. Working alongside other credit professionals you will be empowered to be a success and start a long-term career with prospects.

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

In this role, you will effectively manage the sales ledgers under specific areas, adhering to the processes in place. Achieve cash targets and aging charges reduction as set for each month. Provide forecasts as required; Report on monthly progress on activity and to highlight areas of concern within to the credit manager. Provide additional assistance where required for the Credit Manager. You will also be responsible for:

• Inbound and outbound call collecting payments owed.
• Changing status of accounts.
• Transferring fund on accounts.
• Chasing for remit payments received.
• Furnishing customers with requested paperwork and information to ensure the payment process completes efficiently.
• Query Identification and escalation.
• Banking Reconciliation.
• Allocation of payments by Bacs, cheque and credit card.
• Refunding overpayments.
• Producing team reports.
• Forecasting and trouble shooting.

The ideal Credit Controller:

• Proven experience within a similar role.
• A keen eye for detail and high attention to accuracy.
• Self-motivated and ambitious.
• Strong Computing and IT skills including Microsoft office.
• Excellent communication skills.
