Site Surfacing Manager

Due to continued growth, I am currently seeking a Site Surfacing Manager on behalf of an independent Surfacing and Civil Engineering contractor based in Central Hertfordshire with regional travel to cover their Southern region.

The role

You will work closely with the Southern Contracts Manager in the initial planning stages and attend any pre contract meetings with clients.

You will help plan the project resources including plant, labour and materials as well as agreeing any site layout and welfare facilities. You will have a full understanding of the construction phased plan.

The person

You will have experience of managing a small team and will have a track record of successfully managing budgets and specifications as well as the design phase.

You understand that H&S is paramount and will fully drive all customer and company related policies in relation to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental aspects.

The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do attitude, with the ability to drive and motivate your site team as well as manage any non-conformance.

You must hold the following:

· Full driving licence 
· A current CSCS card 
· Have experience of managing a full team 
· Site surfacing knowledge, ideally within a retail environment 
· You will ideally hold either a SMSTS or SSSTS certificate
