Warehouse Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join HydroGarden based in Coventry.

HydroGarden has been supplying specialist Hydroponic equipment to the trade since February 1996. The role involves working as part of a busy warehouse team, locating and preparing goods for delivery, to meet customer order requirements.

As a warehouse Operative your duties and responsibilities will be to:

• Collect picking lists from the Picker Team leader
• Pick individual items from holding bays and check each off against the list
• Pack items in accordance with procedures
• Place individual items into a UPS pile and pallets into loading bays 5 or 6
• Print off and attach labels for the goods as required on the UPS system
• Print off and attach labels for the pallets on the Reasons system
• When completed pass the picking list on to the Stock controller who will generate a delivery note
• Licensed Fork lift operators use the fork lifts to assist with loads as necessary
• Complete all paperwork in accordance with procedures
• Follow the Hydrogarden Health & Safety procedures
• Use the T card system for all processes as required

To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate the following key skills:

• Good communication
• Work well within a team and also use own initiative

Warehouse experience and a counterbalance or bendi forklift license would be an advantage.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £15,210 per annum plus bonus.
