Job Description LOCATION: Wakefield
JOB TITLE: Self Employed Delivery Driver
WORKING HOURS: 6 or 7 days a week contracts available, - 2.30am - 7.30am Monday - Friday and Midnight to 7.30am Saturday & Sunday
Our client is the UK's only truly national distributor with operations in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They work in a fast-paced environment, while distributing 7.1 million newspapers and magazines every day to their 29,500 retailers.
They are looking for highly motivated colleagues who are committed to carrying out tasks to the highest standard and share their passion to go the extra mile. You will undertake daily driving duties by carrying out multi drop deliveries in the local area.
To be considered for this role you must have your own vehicle with a minimum gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonne (Transit or similar) along with good customer service and communication skills. You'll need to enjoy working in an outgoing big team, where you'll need to be precise and helpful, making sure you provide quality to their customers to be proud of.
Key Experience / Characteristics for the Delivery Driver are:
- A full driving licence - 3.5 tonne, Transit or similar (Essential)
- Have your own vehicle (Essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
