A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, preferably multi skilled to join our Engineering department, which consists of 4 electrical engineers and 4 mechanical engineers. The primary function of the team is to support the Production Department throughout the provision of planned routine maintenance, breakdowns, and the installation of new machinery. The development of new equipment and processes as well as the maintenance of Company properties also form part of the overall departmental responsibilities.

The engineering department currently operates a rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday, with a rostered call-out system of 1 in 4 weekends.

In order to be considered for this role you must possess the following:
* Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, HNC (or equivalent)
* 17th Edition qualification
* Previous experience of working in an Electrical Maintenance engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC (faultfinding) and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
* The ability to work alone and use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
* A flexible approach, as although this is predominately an electrical role, you will be working on shift alongside a mechanical engineer and will be required to carry out basic mechanical duties as and when required.

Although not essential, experience of working with the following would be advantageous:
* Printing or Converting Machinery
* Siemens and Mitsubishi controllers (PLC's & Inverters)
* Project management
* Machinery installs/Panel building
