Working as Quality Support you will operate within the framework of HACCP to ensure that all products are manufactured safely and to the agreed customer specifications. Verifying effectiveness of daily deep cleaning through inspection and rapid hygiene routine environmental swabbing, you will carry out appropriate pre-production checks to ensure timeliness of startup. Collecting microbiological samples against company sampling plan and conducting investigation you will ensure appropriate corrective action in the event of customer complaints.

Within the role, you will make sure that all shelf life samples are kept for the duration of their life against the agreed time/temperature regimes and that the area where they are stored is kept clean and free from out of date samples. You will ensure microbiological samples will be sent out against the predefined schedules and that the samples are logged onto the LIMS system and the registration files are sent through to the External Laboratory while conducting any tests as requested by the Production Manager from any factory trials.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of food microbiology ideally along with knowledge of technical systems covering food safety, legality and quality. You will be Computer literate and have a good eye for detail.
