Fantastic opportunity not to be missed! The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) has an exciting opportunity for a Head of HR to join the team in Holborn. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £50,000 per annum.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) is the professional body which ensures the quality of patient care through the maintenance of standards in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine across the UK

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the College at a key moment in its history and shape its values and HR strategy. Reporting into the CEO and working with the Senior Management Team, you will have full ownership of people matters and development of HR practices in areas such as talent management, succession planning and compensation and benefits.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Generalist, who is as comfortable with developing strategic initiatives and policies, as supporting line managers on performance management and recruitment. A positive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, are essential qualities required for this Head of HR post, as is the ability to engage and collaborate with colleagues across all levels, with ease, to enhance organisational performance and support our 100 staff.

The HR team have recently introduced a number of progressive changes and this role will suit a dynamic and driven individual to embed these, as well as continue the improvement of HR processes, and development of the HR and Learning and Development strategies.
