I am currently recruiting for Registered General Nurse, the home is a pleasant elderly care accommodation which offers skilled nursing solutions, together with dementia care and sensory impairment. As the successfully appointed Registered Nurse you will take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
You will need to be nurse qualified for this role with a valid NMC pin.
Duties:
• Carry out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our service users
• Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation
• Promote our service user's independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and strive for continuous improvement
• Administering, reviewing and monitoring medications
• Putting together care plans and reviewing them as and when necessary
• Supervising the care team to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficiently
Experience:
• A demonstrable passion for caring for the elderly and infirm and a flair for helping people maintain their independence and choice in homely surroundings
• A proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer relationships
• Working knowledge of CQC standards and Regulations

Salary
Circa GBP34,944 based on 42 hours per week (GBP16.00 per hour) nights and days available
