Commencing rate is £8.10 per hour.   

The U.K.'s leading external lighting manufacturer has the following full time vacancy-

We are looking for a hardworking and efficient manufacturing operative capable of enhancing our busy and progressive manufacturing plant. Primarily working in our assembly departments and building various light units, particularly state-of-the-art LED fittings, you would also be expected to perform other duties throughout the works if required. Although not a requirement, experience in mechanical and electrical assembly would be advantageous as would a high degree of dexterity.

The role includes being able to assemble components in a specific order and work to hourly and daily targets. You must be able, therefore, to have a good understanding of the English language, be able to read instructions and communicate effectively.

The applicant must be self-motivated, reliable and able to work on their own initiative. Physical fitness is essential as you will be handling various metal components and polycarbonate mouldings as standard and some lifting is involved. Some manufacturing also takes place on assembly lines and so standing for long periods (sometimes all day) and repetitive work will occur. Flexibility is needed as overtime may be required.

This is a full time position (39 hours) in the company - part time is not an option. Training will be given and a twelve week trial period will determine your suitability for the job.   Previous applicants need not apply.
