About the Trainee RE Teacher Role
This Trainee RE Teacher role will involve working across KS3/KS4, providing academic support to all pupils by helping to deliver stimulating and thought-provoking lessons. You will gain substantial experience of lesson planning, book marking and reflecting on your own practice whilst completing your PGCE and working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). As a Trainee Teacher, you must demonstrate enthusiasm for education and the ability to deliver the highest standards of work.
Trainee RE Teacher Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a Religious Studies degree, with a classification of 2:1 or better and GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above. As a Trainee RE Teacher, you must be committed to continuous professional development and have a thirst for becoming an outstanding teacher with exceptionally high standards. We want to meet committed graduates who are serious about embarking into a career in education and are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
