In-House English to German Translator

Morningside IP UK is a specialist patent, technical and legal translation company that has been in operation since 2000.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an English to German translator to join our team of translators and project/admin staff in our pleasant offices in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK.

Your role:
• Translating patent-related documents from English (and possibly French) into German
• Revising translations into German
• Ensuring deadlines are met
• Liaising with clients and freelancers as necessary
• Assisting with translation memory systems, glossaries and databases

Owing to continued expansion, we are looking for a German to English translator to join our team of ten translators and eight project/admin staff in our pleasant offices in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK. Applications are welcomed from both experienced translators and new graduates.

Your role

• Translating patent-related documents from English (and possibly French) into German

• Revising translations into German

• Ensuring deadlines are met

• Liaising with clients and freelancers as necessary

• Assisting with translation memory systems, glossaries and databases

Your profile

• German mother tongue

• Degree in languages or a technical discipline

• Excellent command of English

• Experience with CAT tools

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

• Sound knowledge of French will be considered an asset

• In-house translation experience preferred
