Principal Teachers are currently acting on behalf of a Primary School in the Harrogate area. The Head Teacher requires a part time Teacher for the school's mixed Reception and Year 1 class. The vacancy is available to start after the May half term or as soon as possible. You will need to be flexible to continue into the autumn term and beyond if required. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to deliver an enriching, engaging curriculum to children with varied levels of ability to instil a love of learning in their early education.

Based in a rural area of Harrogate, the school has excellent facilities including fantastic outdoor resources. You will be welcomed into a supportive and collaborative EYFS and KS1 team and have access to a wealth of learning tools. The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint a vibrant, motivated and creative teacher with excellent behaviour management skills to ensure standards are upheld. The successful applicant will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Previous experience of teaching in an education setting in the UK
Knowledge of the current Early Years Framework and Primary National Curriculum for KS1
Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
A commitment to improving attainment for all students
A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
