SPA Recruitment are partnering with a leading Harrogate based employer with a niche product and global reach to recruit a HR Officer. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor / Officer who wants to be part of an expanding organisation who truly values themselves on creating an excellent working environment.
As a HR Officer you will report in to the HR Manager and you may have the opportunity to supervise and coach a HR trainee. You will work closely with the HR Manager and HR Business Partners to deliver a professional HR service across the organisation. You will assist with HR activities such as employee relations, workforce planning, health and wellbeing and learning and development.
Your main responsibilities will include providing advice and guidance to a range or HR issues and employee relations cases such as disciplinary, absence management, capability, grievance and organisational change. You will directly support line managers with absence reviews and return to work meetings and you will provide guidance to investigating officers during employment relations cases including presenting information during formal hearings. As a HR Officer you will support Senior HR Managers with workforce planning and attend area meetings to update on HR issues and provide training and support on routine HR issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising on a range of HR and employee relations issues. You will have excellent prioritisation and time management skills and will have strong capabilities dealing with employee relations cases.
Ideally you will be CIPD qualified, however working towards this would be acceptable.
