Principal Teachers are seeking to appoint an exceptional Upper KS2 Teacher on behalf of our client primary school in the Harrogate area. The Head Teacher and Governors require an enthusiastic and inspiring KS2 specialist teacher to deliver an engaging curriculum to children in Year 6. The position is available to start immediately or as soon as possible on an on going basis.
Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, the school is well resourced and has excellent learning facilities. The Head Teacher is looking for an individual, who can plan, assess and teach to a high standard and will embrace the school's ethos. The school is well reputed within the local community and serves a diverse catchment area. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to manage behaviour to an excellent standard.
The successful applicant will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Previous experience of teaching in an education setting in the UK
Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum for KS2
Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
A commitment to improving attainment for all students
A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
