LOCATION: Burnley
JOB TITLE: Sales Administrator
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP7.71 per hour
WORKING HOURS: 30 hours per week (Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with ?? hour lunch)
THE COMPANY: Our client is a family run business who has been established since 1876 and is one of the largest manufacturers of granite memorials in Great Britain. They are also one of the major retailers in the country, having twenty outlets throughout Scotland and ten in England.
They specialise in the supply of memorials to individual requirements and as members of the National Association of Memorial Masons they abide by a strict code of conduct to produce quality work at reasonable cost.
THE ROLE: As a Sales Administrator, you will be based at our clients Burnley office where you will oversee all sales and related administration duties. This will include interaction with customers, both in person and via telephone and email. Full product and industry training will be provided.
Although this is not a "hard sales" role, you will be responsible for new business sales. You will be dealing with a wide range of customers including those who may have been recently bereaved.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on memorial designs and materials
Advise on burial ground regulations
Completing sales and necessary order forms
Maintaining in house administration system
Liaising with local clergy and local authorities
Weekly reporting
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the role of Sales Administrator based in Burnley will have previous experience within an administration role. You will also be flexible with your approach to work due to the varied duties you will be undertaking. It is important you understand the importance of excellent customer service and have an empathetic nature due to some of the client group you will be dealing with.
Key experience essential for the Sales Administrator role:
Previous experience within an administration environment is essential
You must live within a commutable distance to Burnley
Good IT skills
Previous experience in customer service
Sales experience would be beneficial but not essential
