This post is based in our South Gloucestershire office in Patchway supporting a multi-disciplinary team and reporting to the South Glos Services Manager.

We are looking for someone with administration experience and a background of working within a busy environment.  You will hold a pivotal role, alongside the team manager, supporting the effective delivery and monitoring across various contracts including supported housing and floating support.  You will be joining a busy and vibrant team who need an organised administrator to support their work.

The team is very supportive of each other and through reflective practice we are always learning from our own and each other's experiences.

Our work is rooted in providing support in a Psychologically Informed Environment framework known as PIE.

A typical day will include:

  • Gathering data and preparing statistical information for monitoring and reporting.
  • Providing information about the team to HR to keep annual leave, sickness and training information systems up to date.
  • Preparing invoices and managing petty cash.
  • Recording referrals into the service and the provision of information and advice to young people dropping into the office.

About you

You have empathy and understanding of the needs of homeless young people, young people leaving care, and the barriers they face. You like being around and working with young people.

You are a positive and approachable person who is a team player with good strong organisational skills.

You are comfortable using all forms of Microsoft office and enjoy learning and implementing new technology.

You are able to hold a pivotal role within the team and, alongside the manager, to enable the safe and effective delivery of our services to young people.

You are able to work alongside the manager to ensure clear and comprehensive monitoring and reporting is provided to our funders, commissioners and other interested parties.
