Semi-skilled Sheet Metal Worker

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-respected and established company specialising in the manufacture and supply of electrical cabinets. Based in Yeadon, Leeds, the successful Sheet Metal Worker will ideally come from a manufacturing background and will earn a negotiable salary, depending on experience.

As a key member of the team, you will need to ensure that you deliver a consistently high level of performance. Reporting into the site foreman, your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Following Engineering drawings and instructions
• Shaping and cutting out sections, using hand tools and Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines, like Pressbrake folding machines and rollers ETC.
• Finishing items with sanders and polishers
• Assembling sections using riveting, welding, and bolting methods

The successful Sheet Metal Worker will possess the following skills and experience: 

• Demonstrable relevant experience.
• Strong Engineering background/capabilities preferred
• Ability to quickly grasp product range
• Excellent attention to detail
• Working to tight deadlines.
