Employer Engagement Sales Consultant - Bristol - GBP25,000 basic + Commission
Are you an experienced Sales Consultant or Business Development professional? Have you worked in a role generating business from cold calling? Do you have knowledge of the FE/WBL sectors, Apprenticeship frameworks and funded programmes?
A role has become available with one of the UK's fastest growing Providers of IT Skills Training. This Provider is graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and delivers both Apprenticeships in the workplace and classes within their Training Centres. They are currently expanding their team and are looking for an Employer Engagement Sales Consultant to engage with local and national businesses, promoting government funded training and following this up with meetings.
The ideal candidate will be able to cover any business in the Bristol and surrounding areas.
The role will include:
- Calling the decision makers of businesses to promote the idea of upskilling current employees or taking on new Apprentices
- To generate and attain new learners each month on to viable Apprenticeship/Upskilling courses
- Engage with local and national employers to secure sustainable employment opportunities through telesales and face to face meetings
- Focus on how, along with the team, you can deliver an excellent Apprenticeship experience for learners and their employer
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant employer sign-up paperwork is completed to the correct standard
- Responsible for ensuring all Apprenticeship enrolment documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner
Essential Experience:
- Sales Experience
- Proven track record of sourcing & closing new business opportunities
- Experience of building strong relationships with decision makers
- Used to working and hitting targets
- Experience of working with 16-18 year olds and engaging with employers (desirable)
- Experience of turning an employer vacancy into a filled job
In return you will receive:
- A starting basic salary of - GBP25,000 (OTE GBP35k)
- 40ppm mileage
- 23 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
