Associated British Ports (ABP) delivers vital services to the UK ports industry, the largest of its kind in Europe. Each year we handle close to a million vehicles and accommodate some of the largest passenger ships in the world.

As the UK's largest export port and with 90% heading outside of the EU, we are hugely optimistic about our future. As part of our commercial expansion and continuous development, including a planned capex of c.GBP150m over the next two years, we are seeking a new Regional Head of Finance to support our projected growth.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• A professional accountancy qualification and strong academic background;
• The ability to articulately and resiliently engage at all levels;
• Experience of delivering major capex programmes;
• The ability to engage with our customers to ensure both customer satisfaction and maximum revenue generation;
• Innovative new modelling ideas in relation to our pricing mechanisms and business structures;
• The ability to look at lean ways of working to generate spatial and financial efficiencies;
• Experience of leadership to drive positive change across a strong finance team and wider business, supporting a culture of collaboration and business partnering;
• Knowledge of a major ERP system;
• A willingness to work collaboratively with, and as an ambassador to, the local economy and community;
• Energy, passion and drive.
