Our world-leading client is currently looking for a Machine Learning Software Design Engineer work on designing application IP for the next generation of FPGAs. You will have Research and Development responsibilities of state of the art DSP based Machine Learning applications.
This role will involve interaction across the teams at the Edinburgh site and across the world.
Tasks may include architecture development, embedded code design, HDL Design, Modelling, Hardware Protoyping and development of soft IP cores to be included in the software releases.
The ideal candidate will have experience of some of the following:
- Software development for DSP processors
- C/C++ and Matlab
- Experience of vector processing of DSP functions beneficial
- SIMD and VLIW processor experience beneficial
- FPGA or ASIC design using HDL synthesis
- Machine learning application development experience beneficial
