An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Caretaker/Cleaner to join us on a full time, permanent basis in Beckenham.

Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring re-let times are met (24 hours) by undertaking void in a timely manner to the agreed standard.  You will undertake duties relating to the safe operation of the building and grounds, ensuring minimum disruption to the daily activity, along with fabric and handyman repairs.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience of caretaking/cleaning. Good written and oral communication skills are also important along with good IT skills.

It is also essential that you have an element of customer focus/service experience. Due to the nature of the role, there may be times where you will need to handle difficult situations in a calm and courteous manner, and/or liaise with local council representatives/ social services.

Although not essential, previous experience or knowledge of the building trade/industry would be beneficial.

Due to the nature of the role, a clean driving licence is essential as is the ability to obtain enhanced clearance via PVG, Disclosure Scotland/CRB.
