Job Title: Security Systems Engineer CCTV - Access Control

Location: Leeds LS25

Salary: Negotiable hourly rate up to £32,000 PA (plus overtime)

Job Type: Full-time

Established in 2002, the company provides expert Electronic Security Services & Network Cabling across the UK. With clients in both the private and public sector, their dedicated team of certified and trained engineers offer expertise for a large range of services to end users and contractors.

The company is looking for an experienced security engineer who has a good all-round knowledge in Access control, CCTV, intruder & Fire systems. Experience of IP and data networks preferred.

Job Role:

Duties to include:

Maintenance of Security Systems, Installation of Security Systems, Service and repair of Security Systems, Installation of Data Networks, WiFi and associated equipment

Key Requirements:

Candidates need a good all-round knowledge of Security and Fire systems, are able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team when needed. The Ideal candidate will:

  • Have a clean UK driving license
  • CCTV, Access control, intruder alarms, fire alarm systems: 2 years' experience
  • Security Engineer: 2 years' experience
  • Have a good education and ideally a relevant qualification in the security industry
  • Be able to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues.
  • Be able to plan and work methodically to a high standard.
  • Be prepared to be flexible and work indoors and outdoors on a range of sites.
  • Be prepared to use step ladders and other access equipment.
  • Be computer literate
  • Have experience of working in a service environment and working on out of hours call out rota arrangements would be an advantage.
  • Have all good all-round knowledge of all Fire and Security systems including Access Control, Intruder, Fire Alarms, Door Entry and CCTV.
  • Experience of IP CCTV systems and networks would be highly desirable.
  • Past experience of working within an NSI or SSAIB approved company desirable.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
