Japanese Translator

Currently operating one of Europe's largest action sports websites dealing in 12 different languages, 14 different currencies and shipping to 100+ destinations worldwide; an opportunity has arisen for a Japanese translator to join the team on a three month contract, with a potential extension to six months.

This is the ideal role for a dedicated and hardworking candidate, with the necessary language skills, looking to develop their career within an award winning innovative company. Working directly under the Head of Translation, you will be responsible for providing Japanese translations and doing market research, helping to launch the company's business into Japan.

You will be tasked with;

- Translation of the digital marketing copy, website copy and printed materials
- Translation of product information including technical terms. This will require you to research and understand the market, whilst liaising with several company departments
- Assisting the web and marketplace teams with market research

To be considered for the role of Japanese Translator you must;

- Speak Japanese to a native level and be fluent in English
- Understand how to research technical terms and find the appropriate translation
- Be punctual, reliable and able to work on your own initiative
- Be highly computer literate
- Take pride in helping the company translate their brand image to Japanese customers, as well as take pride in the quality of your translation work
