A vacancy has arisen with my automotive client for a full-time, permanent Bill Of Materials Analyst. The postholder will join the comapny's expanding Finance team, reporting to the Finance Director. This exciting opportunity will be based at my client's production facility on the outskirts of Portsmouth.
The duties of this exciting position include:
* To audit all BOM's and routings for current customer programmes and highlight any discrepancies.
* To correct BOM's identified and record the action taken.
* To correct routings identified and record the action taken.
* Ensure accuracy of system master data.
* Monitor and report cost variances on monthly basis.
* To assist and develop in the implementation and maintenance of part revision levels.
* Monitor and report on effectiveness of processed stock transactions.
* Any other special project, task or duty as may be reasonably allocated by Plant Controlling.
* Provide SMR UK Reception cover as required by the HR Department
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills & qualifications:
* Experience in material /production environment.
* GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths
* Material & Logistics Qualification
* Prior Automotive/Manufacturing Experience
* Knowledge of KANBAN System
* Strong Computer skills and aptitude in Microsoft Office
* Manufacturing Process, Logistics, MRP and Supplier Management
