Our client a leading Logistics provider is looking for a Head of HR Shared Services with extensive experience of Leading, Managing and motivating HR and Payroll Teams. Within this exciting role you will be responsible for developing standardised practices and service levels across the business. You will be responsible for leading the HR Shared Services and Payroll functions and ensuring the delivery of high quality HR support services across the business.

THE JOB

Reporting to the HR Director, duties will include:

- Leading the HR team and Payroll team's functions, providing coaching and leadership on administration and payroll matters and other associated tasks as part of group HR processes.
- Provide accurate and timely resolution of first line employee inquiries
- Direct employees to resources as needed, provide policy interpretation & HR system support
- Understand the key drivers and outputs of team performance and measure against internal customer requirements
- Continuously work to improve the quality of our service to internal customers
- Manage the HR system, its use and associated supplier relationship, terms & conditions
- Thoroughly understand HR processes and their best practice application driving HR process re-engineering where applicable
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to achieve a fully integrated HR & Payroll service
- Provision of effective MI, data analysis and reporting framework

THE PERSON

Experience of leading HR Shared Services Functions and full CIPD qualification is essential for this role!

- Relevant experience managing a Shared Service team in period/periods of significant change; a strong change manager.
- Experience managing and analysing data in HR systems, reporting, MI and communicating relevant performance indicators
- Demonstrable experience in designing new HR processes and continuous improvement of existing processes
- Ability to manage culturally diverse stakeholders and build strong collaborative working relationships across all levels
- The flexibility to work effectively in a rapidly changing and developing environment
