Our client is a Consultancy Practice dealing exclusively with Legionellosis Risk Management and Control. They are totally Independent from, and have no commercial interest in, any water treatment/water hygiene companies. The company has steadily grown in size since its inception in 1991 to its present position of Independent "Legionella Consultants" to some of the major organisations within the UK.
They are now looking to recruit a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join their teams in the North East
The key duties of this position will include carrying out risk assessment of building water systems for the control of legionellosis, auditing client site records and log books to ensure adequate maintenance regimes are being implemented. You will be required to liaise with project and contracts managers in relation to works under their control, conducting assessments of ducted air conditioning systems and taking samples for microscopic and bacterial analysis.
Additional responsibilities of this position will include conducting environmental assessments of occupied areas in relation to indoor air quality, preparing comprehensive reports including observations, recommendations and interpretation of laboratory analysis. Providing presentations and discussing reports with clients will also be required.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant Science discipline. Candidates require no previous experience as full training will be provided by the company.
