Job Type: Permanent full time 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday

Office Angels are proud to be recruiting for a sales and marketing administrator for a high growth orientated manufacturing company looking for a performance driven, customer focused and ambitious, situated on the west side of Birmingham.

Purpose of Secretary to sales and marketing administrator

To provide a full, efficient, Secretarial and Administrative support to the Construction Director and ensure the smooth running of the administrative function within the construction department.

The main role and responsibilities of a sales and marketing administrator will be, but no limited to;

* Answering telephone, filtering/directing calls and taking messages
* Dealing with basic sales enquiries
* Raising and sending quotations
* Sales order processing
* Taking and processing credit card payments
* Supporting senior sales staff and financial directors
* Updating customer database and CRM systems
* Contacting existing customers via telephone and email
* Printing and preparing training materials for courses
* Booking in deliveries
* Obtaining shipping quotes
* Raising equipment hire and loan agreements, with chase up of late returns
* Social media management
* Some market research
* Cover of other positions during holidays (such as packaging and dispatch)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

* Attention to detail
* Previous sales experience
* Good communication skills with clear and professional telephone manner
* Experience using Microsoft office, email and internet
* Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems

* Minimum c grade in English, mathematics and science
* Full UK driving license
* Company, product and applications training will be provided
* Targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to be discussed and agreed

This position would suit an experienced administrator, someone who is an excellent communicator, has drive and determination together with an enthusiastic ability to take on any job, whilst promoting a confidentiality, professionalism and effective business relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have CRM system knowledge
