MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Project engineer is responsible for the execution of a number of co-current projects from the point of sale/project launch through to onsite installation, commissioning and acceptance, including:
- Management of ALL aspects of project execution
- Issue and follow up of project execution schedules
- Budget control and monthly cost to completion forecasts
- Customer liaison including coordination of transport, installation and erection
- Change orders: analysing requirement, preparation of quotation and execution
- Proprietary component sizing, specification, evaluation and selection
- Quality Control, planning, implementation and monitoring
- The Project Engineering role is based in Hampshire with some international business travel as required
Personal attributes:
- As the Project Engineer you will require Strong assertive communication skills, leading from the front
- Flexible approach to work
- As the Project Engineer you will be able to use own initiative and be a strong team player
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload effectively
Education & qualifications:
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineer (min B.Sc./ B. Eng.)
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project
- Knowledge of pressure vessel codes, PED, ASME, DOSH
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015
- Familiarity with HAZOPS
- Ability to deliver projects within budget and to a specified deadline
- Ability to communicate technically with other engineering disciplines
- Experience with working with EPC companies
