Junior Sous Chef - Banana Wharf in Ocean Village
Full time and permanent Junior Sous Chef required for a large and busy kitchen in the Ocean Village area of Southampton.
Any previous experience working under pressure or in a fast paced environment is ideal although full on the job training will also be given.
The role itself consists of a contracted 48 hour week involving some split shifts, some evening and some weekend work at the hourly rate of GBP8.50 with paid overtime being available in the busy Summer months. The successful candidate will also benefit from having genuine promotion prospects to Senior Sous or Head Chef position running their kitchen in the Delicious Dining group.
The successful candidate should have a basic awareness of costings and how GP percentages work and also be confident enough to occasionally be in charge of the kitchen and it's staff should the Head Chef ever be away.
