Infrastructure Engineer- is required for my client who are an engineering Consulting. Due to increased workload the company are looking for a Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) to work in the head offices near Northampton. The Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) will be joining the expanding Civil and Drainage division so a background in road and drainage design and external works design is essential. The Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) will have worked on projects including both New Build and Refurbishment projects for public and private sectors.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be working under the leadership of the Civil Engineering Director and the role will include client liaison, design, interface with project teams, and contract implementation. The successful Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) will have a good level of computer ability and proficiency in AutoCAD, Ground Modelling, Micro Drainage, Win Des and PDS (Causeway) software is highly advantageous. The Ideal Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) will be confident in completing detailed road and drainage designs, and will have working knowledge of the NEC suite of Contracts will be an advantage.
Infrastructure Engineer Position Overview
- Assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations
- Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms
- Preparation of surface water drainage strategies and flood risk assessments
- Highway design
- Junction design
- Drainage analysis and design
- Liaising with authorities to secure approval for the designs
Infrastructure Engineer- Position Requirements
- AutoCAD Civils 3D skills
- A working knowledge of the NEC suite of Contracts will be an advantage
- Ground Modelling, Win Des
- Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer previously idealy 8 years+
- background in road and drainage design is essential
