Sue Ross are delighted to be working with a well-established independent Freight Forwarder, offering freight forwarding solutions on a bespoke basis including mainland Europe and the Scandinavian regions, services to the USA and Asia along with transport/courier services. Our client also deals with all major airlines and shipping lines across the world so can offer competitive rates and services in these sectors. They are now looking to strengthen and add a freight forwarding development professional with a high level of freight forwarding experience to the team.
The role will involve costing and quoting for all modes of freight, handling documentary and operating cargo with whichever suppliers you source. Using your own business development skills to develop and maximise sales and thereby generate increased profits for the company.
The successful candidate will have a completely free reign to manage their own workload, being autonomous without micro management or producing ongoing management reports. Arranging client visits and managing your own diary is an essential part of the role.
If you have a successful proven track record in freight forwarding and are exasperated that your career and by association your salary has hit a plateau this could be the role for you! This is a fantastic opportunity with an incredible commission structure on offer.
Previous experience within freight forwarding is absolutely essential for this role.
