Our client prides itself on being a visionary transporter and distributor of new and used high specification vehicles from prestigious manufacturers to customers and clients around their expanding Banbury based site and additionally around other parts of the UK.
The Role:
Working as a vehicle movement operative, you will be driving and parking new and used high specification vehicles within their large automotive base. You will be required to have a flexible attitude towards working hours as early mornings and later finishes will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely park and monitor all vehicles
* Inspect all vehicles upon gate arrival for damages and shortages
* Book all cars that are delivered by logistic operators onto operating system; using handheld equipment
* Maintain security lists for vehicles
* Liaise with admin requests such as inspections and mileage requests
* Ensure vehicles are parked correctly for workshop loading
* Monitor the general awareness of yard safety measures such as speeding and wearing a Hi Vis jacket
* General site maintenance and general health and safety compliance
Requirements:
* Must be capable and qualified to drive
* Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence
* Candidates will be capable of ensuring that all documentation meets company and legislative requirements
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team, to achieve deadlines
Working Hours
* Your average working day will be 7:00am - 4:00pm, however a flexible attitude is required in order to support business needs
