Supply Chain Lead - Bristol - GBP12.10 PAYE - 4 month contract
We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead to work for a major defence contractor based in Bristol. Candidates with Supply Chain experience are highly desirable. This role may also be suited to candidates with supply chain qualifications and looking to gain practical experience within the sector.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved with the delivery of supply chain processes and the associated engagement with the Supplier base, projects and other stakeholders in order to procure goods and services used to build world class Naval Ships.
Experience
*Good communication skills, ability to listen and question
*Developing stakeholder management while focusing on delivery of the requirement
*Track record of progressing paperwork/closure of issues in a quick and professional manner
*Understanding of procurement principles
*Understanding of Exostar, Contract Portal, Windchill, Aveva or similar preferred
*Proficient in the use of MS Office including Excel
