Logistics / FLT Operative

Job Description

Morson are currently seeking a Logistics Operative/FLT driver for their client, a leading provider of engineering services to the defence sector, based in Bristol.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Booking items into the inventory system
- Preparing pick lists for movement to production
- Picking and packaging parts and orders
- Despatching customer orders
- Booking transport and marshalling vehicles
- Use of fork lift truck
- General housekeeping duties

Requirements

The successful candidate for this role will have:

- A fork lift truck licences (counter balance as a minimum)
- A good level of computer literacy
- Experience of manual handling
- Ability to occasionally work shifts and weekends (uplifts in rate will apply)
- Experience of working in an engineering type stores role (advantageous)

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undergo Security Clearance and a credit check.
