Full Time
Hours: 09.30 - 17.30, Monday - Friday (and 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota)

Salary: £18,000 P/A

About us:

We are a well established local independent blind, shutter and awning company, based in Poole- serving customers in Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding areas. We are currently looking to hire an office and showroom administrator on a permanent full time basis. Having recently expanded our business to a fantastically prominent position, with the biggest showroom of blinds and awnings in the area. We are in need of a new member of staff to work in this fast paced environment. Dealing with customers face to face in our new showroom in a confident & friendly manner and also on the phone. Booking appointments using our online diary systems and producing regular documents using Microsoft office.

General duties will include:

* Using online diary booking systems.
* General office duties including answering the phone / replying to emails / dealing with customer queries.
* General showroom duties such as providing assistance to customers and keeping the showroom presentable.
* Using Microsoft office to produce invoices and other documents on a daily basis.
* Assisting with online media marketing, keeping our Facebook/Twitter feeds up to date.
* Accurate checking in of deliveries and some manual movement of stock.

The ideal candidate for the role will:

* Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise work.
* Have a methodical approach and attention to detail.

Qualifications and experience:

* Experience using an online diary booking systems & business based social media
* Computer literate- with good working knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe software packages.
* A good knowledge of the local area is needed to enable booking sales/fitting appointments with customers.
