Finley George Recruitment have an urgent requirement for an experienced Print Production Controller
We are looking for an experienced print estimator and production person, for our client in Bristol. This is a fast moving environment as our machines work 24 hours a day and the nature of commercial print brings the usual challenges.
Working closely with the production manager, raising job bags and works instructions for the studio, cover for the production manager, during holiday and busy periods. Raising orders and negotiating with the paper merchants. Managing the paper warehouse and warehouse manager.
Working with customer service team and estimating to ensure that we are printing work cost effectively and meeting client needs
The Role
You will have experience of MIS
Comfortable speaking to clients and general account management as well as dealing with our suppliers.
Experience of both litho and digital processes
Managing, organising and prioritising all estimates
Work closely with our sales team and various production areas
Be able to understand client briefs and at times advise on best practice
Stock control.
You will be computer literate with IT skills including Microsoft office, word and excel
