Job Title: Fabricator / Welder

Salary: £10.50 - £11.50 per hour

Based: Welwyn Garden City

Position: Permanent

Our client is looking for a candidate To Fabricate and Weld components according to the required engineering and welding standard. You will report to the Fabrication Shop Supervisor and be accountable for high quality and accurate welded components.

Day to Day Duties:

• To Fabricate and Weld components according to the required engineering and welding standards
• To ensure that fabrications follow the Company Quality Policy of "Right First Time".
• To report any problems with our production processes through the Corrective Action Report system
• To be constantly aware of health & safety issues and ensure that health & safety standards are observed within the department at all times.
• To ensure that all work is processed to a high quality and flow through the Health & Safety.
• Maintain a tidy workplace where equipment and tools are stored safely and securely where they belong

The candidate MUST be able to read engineering drawings.

They must also hold the appropriate certificate (City & Guilds, Apprenticeship) in Welding.
