An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Product Manager to join them to be responsible for maximising value to the business through their product range.

In the role, you will Implement, through a long term strategic vision your plan for the product range.    Understanding customer needs and developing suitable product ranges to meet their needs is critical.  You will interface with internal customer and suppliers in order to deliver the best value products

Setting project briefs and key deliverables for all new products, working with both internal and external stakeholders, training the sales team on the product offer and representing our client at events and forums, you will set product requirements and create the handover document for the Commercialisation Team.

You will work closely with Sales to develop the product business plan for the coming year and develop the longer term Roadmap with a 3 – 5 year horizon.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Product Manager and of the product development process as minimum, along with an understanding of the commercial market in the caravan industry or a similar sector. With an understanding of the gateways applied within an NPD process in order to liaise with technical specialists and commercial specialists within the business, you will be comfortable both in front of customers and senior management. You may come from a Sales, Marketing or Technical background.

As you will be expected to manage the product development process from concept through to product roll out, the successful candidate must have the ability to liaise with external stakeholders in order to determine the requirements and success of current products and protoype/concept products.

With commercial / financial analysis skills, you will have experience in front end development (ideas and concept phase) and managing a funnel approach to product development. Able to evaluate financial reports and manage multiple projects (in different phases), you will have a proven technical background and high attention to detail.
