Seasonal Kitchen Porter - The Cornish Arms
Are you planning your summer in Cornwall? We're looking for passionate people to join us for the summer season. With beaches just around the corner and our restaurants bustling with hungry visitors, we could have the perfect seasonal opportunity for you!
As a kitchen porter you will support the team by keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and helping the Head Chef with food preparation when required.
This is a full time seasonal position until October with potential for you to stay with us during the winter period too.
The Cornish Arms in St. Merryn, offers a simple British pub menu, with dishes like real beef burgers, mussels and chips and scampi in the basket. In the summer guests can sit outside in the fresh Cornish air and enjoy some of St Austell Brewery's best ales and a great selection of wines, or cosy up by our log fires in the colder weather with some comfort food.

Responsibilities as a Kitchen Porter:
Ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and well maintained.
Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and removing any waste.
Receiving food deliveries and storing them when they arrive.
Helping the Head Chef / Sous Chef with the preparation of food when required.
